TO: The 2026 College Delegate Assembly

The Commission on Colleges the Universities’ Annual Meeting will occur December 5-8, 2026. All Delegates are encouraged to attend The Commisson’s Annual Meeting.

This serves as the official notice, pursuant to the Corporate Bylaws of The Commission that the College Delegate Assembly Business Meeting will convene on or about 10:45 a.m. (CT) on Monday, December 7, 2026, at the George R. Brown Convention Center in Houston, Texas.

At the CDA Business Meeting, the delegates will:

VOTE on revisions to The Commission’s accreditation standards (final draft forthcoming on or around November 16, 2026) and;

ELECT members of The Commission’s Board of Trustees, the Appeals Committee; the Hearing Officer; and Arbitrators, as well as act on any other matters that may properly come before the CDA at The Commission’s Annual Meeting.

Please note that the Bylaws do not allow for proxies; therefore, only Trustees and College presidents or chancellors present at the meeting are eligible to vote. Please see The Commission’s website for additional information regarding The Commission’s Annual Meeting. Further, please be on the lookout for a later email explaining our voting procedures.
