Policy Statement
- The institution's governing board must be informed by the institution as to the dates of an on-site review committee visit by the Commission on Colleges. The institution should invite a representative of the governing board to be available on campus at the time of the evaluation committee's visit.
- The institution shall send its governing board copies of the Compliance Certification, the Quality Enhancement Plan, the Report of the Reaffirmation Committee, and the institution's response to the visiting committee report.
- The institution may invite representatives of its coordinating board or other state agencies to be on campus and available to members of the committee at the time of the visit.
- The institution may provide to its coordinating board or other state agencies copies of the institution’s materials prepared in anticipation of reaffirmation of accreditation.
- Exit conference attendance is restricted to the members of the visiting committee, Commission staff, the chief executive officer of the institution, and persons invited by the chief executive officer to be present.
- Attendance at executive sessions of the visiting committee is restricted to members of the visiting committee and staff of the Commission on Colleges.
